This week was pretty damn good. I started jogging on a regular basis again and only got on the bike once. My plantar fasciitis seems to be bothering me less and I’m so glad it’s getting better. PT really sucks!
This week I met with a wellness coach for the first time. It was like a therapist session but for exercise πππ We went over what I’ve been doing for the past 4 months and my ‘best me’. There are some goals written on paper. And we’re coming up with a strategy for the cold season in New England.
Winter has been my nemesis when it comes to exercise. Any progress I make during the summer gets erased during the winter. This year I’m determined to change this pattern.
Weekly Breakdown:
Monday: 3.76 miles – I procrastinated and went out at 11:15 pm!
Wednesday: 4.48 miles – I went to Breakheart with a friend and we followed the Couch to 5K app for the first 30 minutes. Then we jogged up all the hills.
Thursday: 14.6 miles on the bike – I didn’t push hard at all. It was an easy hour and 18 minutes of sight seeing.
Friday: 3.8 miles – this was the exciting hour entry. It was sooo hot.
Im off to a party for beautiful 1 year girl. It’ll be a blast I’m sure! I might sneak out early and jump on the bike for an easy Sunday evening ride. Then again I could always do nothing and just stuff my face with food. We’ll see which one wins π€π€π€
Thanks for reading and hope you had a great weekend!
I hope the bike won!! One piece birthday cake is all a man needs for a good bike ride!! Nice weeks work BTW. π

π°π°π° I was good and left before the cake. I came home, took out the bike and was planning to do 20+ miles. I should have stuffed my face. I broke the bike πππ

No, stuffing your face would not have been good. Well done on taking the right option – I’m sure the bike can be fixed more easily than losing the pounds if you had stuffed your face!!

I was able to get 14.6 miles before the bike was 100% gone! πππ bike will need a lot of TLC

Oh no, what happened to the bike?

In short: a broken spoke which caused the rim to bend. Also the chain was slipping from the gears and also bent. It’s alright because it gave me an excuse to upgrade some components.

Impressive how great you are doing! Is that a 3 wheel bike in the picture?! What plans do you have to stick with it for winter?
